Alter Pathways is an AI-powered life simulation platform that allows users to explore hypothetical life scenarios based on different decisions. The Service generates narrative content using artificial intelligence and is intended for entertainment, reflection, and personal insight purposes only.

The simulations produced by Alter Pathways are entirely fictional and generated by AI. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including but not limited to financial, psychological, medical, or career advice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Purchases and Credits

Alter Pathways offers simulation credits and subscription plans for purchase. All purchases are processed through our payment provider, Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy in addition to these terms.

Simulation credits are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Credits expire as specified at the time of purchase. Subscription plans automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, harassing, or illegal
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract the underlying AI models
• Use automated tools to access the Service in an unauthorized manner
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Alter Pathways and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. AI-generated simulation content is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for any particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alter Pathways shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
